RACE TIPS

• Be sure your child is registered with both USSA and NYSSRA.
• Your child must be registered at Belleayre Mountain for the Race program
• Always carry your NYSSRA and USSA cards with you.
• Register for all races early if possible. It will save time at race check in and avoid late registration fees charged by some mountains. Refer to the rules about race registration in the NYSSRA Manual.
• Leave plenty of travel time when going to a new location.
• Be sure to check in with your coach upon arrival and be ready for course inspection.
• Have a good breakfast on race day and a good nights rest the evening before.
• Make sure your skis and tuned and waxed for the current snow conditions.
• GO FAST!!!
• Most importantly - HAVE FUN!!!
